Every last Sunday morning of the month Jong Klassiek@West. A classical concert by students of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. This time with Soniu Lodia:Ibai de Miguel (euphonium), Niels Lukkesen (tuba), José Guilherme Neves (tuba), Adria Cisneros Abril (euphonium)

Soinu Lodia is a dynamic Tuba-Euphonium quartet that consists of four motivated students of the Conservatory of Amsterdam that happened to have a very good connection musically as well as socially. The quartet plays, apart from the standard repertoire, pieces which are less common to play in this kind of ensemble like jazz for example. In this way they try to explore the possibilities that this small, but warm ensemble can give. It’s this warm sound that they are striving for where the quartet got it’s name: ‘Soinu Lodia’, which means nothing more than ‘Big Sound’ in the Bask language.
